Meet Molly Moore and Wesley, her six-month-old golden retriever.
Like all puppies, little Wesley is an adorable ball of fluff. However, he’s grown into a doggy teenager, and something appeared to be wrong with poor Wesley’s teeth as he was losing his baby teeth.
It seemed his “big boy” teeth hadn’t come in quite right. Wesley had showed problems teething, and when he started losing weight, Moore became concerned. So like generations of tweens before him, Wesley had to make a trip to the orthodontist.
That’s right. Wesley got braces…
Here’s Molly and her puppy Wesley.
“He wasn’t playing with his toys and he was losing weight … I was very worried, and felt I needed to do something for him to be pain free and live a happy puppy life.”
Luckily, Molly’s father happens to be a doggie dentist and had the perfect solution: puppy braces!
Wesley was placed under anesthetic while the wire and braces were affixed to his teeth.
Here’s the final result with Wesley showing off his adorably cute and awkward braceface.
