When you become a mother, there are many things that come along with the child, most of them not cute.

1. When you push, something else comes out too

During childbirth many mothers poop. It makes sense when you think about it: you push really hard to get the baby out, so everything else comes out too.

2. You also push out the placenta.

After the little one is out you have to eliminate the placenta as well. Some women choose to eat it - look at Kim! - others just keep it as it is.

3. Your body will recover after childbirth

A natural vaginal delivery doesn't mean your vagina will remain open. It shrinks back, in time.

4. Your tummy also recovers in time

Your belly also needs some time to recover and shrink back after childbirth. Simply getting the baby out doesn't mean you are going to fit into your old jeans right away.
