LEGOs are a phenomenal children’s toy, as they can help stimulate imagination, creative abilities, and logical thinking.
And as you are about to find out, one teacher has found another awesome educational/developmental use for this super-toy.
Alycia Zimmerman, a 3rd-grade teacher in New York, regularly uses Lego to help develop basic math skills among her pupils. Lego blocks, she finds, offer a great opportunity to explain fundamental math concepts and calculations in a way which is immediately understandable for young minds.
